THE FANDO! FOOTBALL GLO-BALL QUIZ Competition and Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
1. The Promoters
1. The Promoters are:
1. The Talent Bank (TTB Management), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 1314798 whose registered office is at 5 - 6 Greenfield Crescent, Edgbaston, Birmingham, B15 3BE. who is the Promoter running the Promotion and will provide the Prizes; and
2. Rhythm Digital Ltd, trading as Piing of W8a Knoll Business Centre, 325-327 Old Shoreham Road, Hove, England, BN3 7GS, who is the Promoter responsible for operating and administering the Quiz, on its platform known as “Quiiz” (Piing).
2. The Promotion and Quiz
1. The title of the Series is Fando! Football’s Glo-Ball Quiz (the Quiz).
2. The promotion comprises elements of:
1. a competition, because Players will be ranked in terms of their score in the Quiz depending on how many questions they correctly answer and how quickly they answer them (this is known as the Ranking); and
2. a prize draw because some Prizes will be available to the best-performing participants in the Quiz.
3. a promotional draw because some Prizes will be awarded to a randomly allocated participant.
The promotional draw comprises elements of:
a prize draw because some Prizes will be available as Lucky Dip Prizes for Players to win simply by virtue of them participating in the Quiz, (the Promotion).
Players must answer at least one question correctly to be eligible for any Lucky Dip Prizes.
Players must enter their correct contact details into the form at the end of the live quiz to be eligible to win a Prize.
Lucky Dip must comply with the same eligibility terms below - for the avoidance of doubt, winners must be over the age of eighteen at the time of the Quiz.
There will be a 1 Lucky Dip Prize available to win in each Quiz, with the Winners randomly selected from Players who have answered at least 1 question correctly.
Lucky Dips are classified as a lottery and can be construed as illegal in some countries. If you are in a country where lucky dips are illegal, you are not eligible to win any lucky dip prize draws.
3. Eligibility
1. The Promotion is open to anyone over the age of 18 at the time of entering the Quiz, excluding employees of TTB and employees of Piing.
2. To win a monetary prize, the Winner and Second Place finisher must be able to demonstrate with the fact that they’re over 18 years of age with a legally accepted proof of ID.
4. Quiz entry and participation
The Quiz Series will take place at 18:00 GMT on the following dates –
· Tuesday 25th July (World Football Quiz)
· Tuesday 1st August (Women's World Cup Quiz)
· Tuesday 8th August (North v South Divide)
· Monday 14th August - CHELSEA V FULHAM GLOBAL RACE
· Tuesday 15th August - L'POOL V EVERTON GLOBAL RACE
· Wednesday 16th August - ARSENAL V TOTTENHAM GLOBAL RACE
· Thursday 17th August - MAN U V MAN CITY GLOBAL RACE
1. The Quiz will last approximately 10 minutes (Quiz Period).
2. To participate in the Quiz, you must visit: www.fandofootball.com during the Quiz Period and / or follow the link as seen across paid media on TikTok and Instagram to participate in the live broadcast and register to participate in the Quiz as a player (Player).
3. By participating in the Quiz, you are confirming that you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms & Conditions, or you are not eligible for the Promotion, then you should not participate in the Quiz.
4. Entrants may only participate once in the Quiz as a Player (no multiple entries or entries on multiple devices are allowed).
5. No purchase is necessary; however, internet access and a valid email address are required.
6. If you seek to participate in the Quiz after the start of the Quiz Period then you may participate as a Player but you will not be allowed to start from the beginning.
7. During the Quiz, Players will be given a Ranking. Ranking will be ordered by the most correct answers, with the highest time bonus, as determined by Piing’s Quiiz software system. Winners of the Competition Prizes will be determined by their Ranking (see section 5 below). In the event of multiple Winners with the same number of correct answers and the same time bonus, entries will be ordered and ranked by Piing’s Quiiz software platform.
8. Players must enter their correct contact details into the form to be eligible to win a Prize.
9. Whilst all best efforts will be made by the Promoters to ensure that the Quiz content is correct and the software platform is functioning correctly at the time of broadcast, any errors in the Quiz content or the software platform will not affect the competition Ranking.
5. Prize allocation and Winner selection
1. The following prizes will be awarded during the Quiz (Prizes):
1. Competition Prizes: Fando! Football will give away 1 prize for the first 3 Quizzes and two for the latter 4. These are for the overall winner of each of the first 3 and the overall winner and second place finisher of the latter 4. There will be various Lucky Dip winners
2. For your total confidence, the Prizes will be selected independently by Piing, on the criteria set out above and winners of the Prizes (Winners) will be announced as soon as possible following the Quiz Period.
6. Contacting Winners
1. The Promoters reserve the right to verify the eligibility of Winners. The Promoter may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose and a Prize may be withheld unless and until the Promoter is satisfied with the verification.
2. The decision of the Promoter in relation to the Promotion, Winners and Quiz content is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
7. Further Prize Details and Conditions:
1. The Winner will be liable for all costs and expenses not stated in these Terms & Conditions relating to claiming the Prize.
2. If the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoters which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoters reserve the right to (as applicable and in the discretion of the Promoters):
1. disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or does not comply with these Terms & Conditions (including the eligibility criteria) or invalidate any affected entries;
2. cancel, modify, postpone or suspend the Promotion; and/or
3. award the Prizes based upon the most up to date Rankings as at the time of any disruption.
3. No responsibility can be taken for entries (including any contact details) which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, incorrect, misspelled or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of entering will be determined solely by Piing’s Quiiz platform. The Promoters do not guarantee continuous or secure access to the microsite.
8. Publicity
1. The Promoters may announce the overall Quiz Winner’s username as part of the game play for the digital series. By participating in the Quiz you agree that the Promoters can share your username in this way if you are the overall Quiz Winner.
2. The Promoters would like the Winners to participate in publicity arising from the Promotion (for example press releases and other public communications). The Winners are under no obligation to participate in this publicity and the Promoters will only do this with the Winners’ consent. Participation is at the Winner's discretion and is not a condition of Prize acceptance.
3. The Promoters will share Winners’ contact information with selected third parties, for the purposes of delivering Prizes to Winners.
4. It is the responsibility of each Player to provide their correct, up-to-date details when entering the Promotion and/or confirming acceptance of the Prize in order for their Prize to be processed. The Promoters are not responsible for Winners failing to supply accurate information which affects Prize acceptance or delivery of their Prize.
9. Privacy Any and all personal data supplied for the running of this Promotion will be used solely for the purpose of this Promotion by the Promoters and will not be disclosed to a third party for any other purpose unless your positive consent has been obtained. Your personal data will be handled in accordance with the Promoters’ privacy policies, available at https://fandofootball.com/privacy-policy
10. General
1. The Promoters reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. These T&Cs were last updated on 3rd August 2023.
2. The Promoters together with any of their associated entities will not be liable for any losses (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential losses or loss of profits), expenses or damages which are suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using any Prize, or any loss of opportunity in receiving a Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Nothing will exclude the Promotors’ liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
3. An entry must be made directly by the individual entering the Promotion. Bulk entries from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries and entries submitted by macros or other automated means together with entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these Terms & Conditions in full will be disqualified and will be not be counted. If it becomes apparent that a Player is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of 'script', 'brute force', masking their identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than their own or any other automated means in order to increase that Player's entries into the Promotion in a way that is not consistent with the rules of the Promotion, that Player’s entries will be disqualified and any Prize awarded will be void. Players are not permitted to enter using anonymous email services such as, but not limited to, GuerillaMail, Dispostable or Mailinator.
4. The Promoters will not be liable for any failure to comply with their obligations or any delay in performing their obligations within these Terms & Conditions if an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs caused by (but not limited to) global or regional health crises, weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, epidemic, pandemic, famine, plague or other natural calamities and acts of God, or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Promoters.
5. The Promoter may refuse to award a Prize in the event of any Player’s fraud, dishonesty, breach or non-entitlement under these Terms & Conditions or seek recovery of any Prize or its value if the Prize has been awarded.
6. If any provisions of these Terms & Conditions are judged to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, this will not affect or impact the continuation in full force and effect the remainder of the provisions.
7. By entering the Quiz, you will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
8. If a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and the details in any promotional material arises, the details in these Terms & Conditions will prevail.
9. These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law and their interpretation and application will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
